Q1: Overall, how do you think this school year went?
A: I think it went great. I liked all the freedom that we had and all the project-based learning that we did.
Q2: What has been your biggest take away this year?
A: On my baseball team I learned how to play as a group and that it’s like a family.
Q3: What are some concerns you have about the incoming student body?
A: One concern [I have] is the parking lot. With three exits I think it might get clumped up like the other Olathe schools.
Q4: What are you most looking forward to next year?
A: I’m looking forward to being in my second to last year of high school and the baseball season.
Q5: Did you transfer to West or have you been here the entire year? How does Olathe Northwest compare to West?
A: Olathe Northwest is a lot more packed in. It’s not as open, you don’t have as much freedom. Olathe West is more fun and you have a lot more responsibilities. I feel like we’re more of a family here over there I didn’t feel the same way as we do here.
Q6: What advice do you have for incoming Freshmen?
A: Download Teams to your phones so you can see where your class is. Get in the lunch line either really late or really early.
