Anisa Reyna (Freshman)

Anisa Reyna has been a dancer since she was young and cannot imagine a life without dance. She loves performing for others whether it’s at a pep assembly or on the nationals stage.

Dance has given Reyna her passion and some great friendships.

“Dance is my passion,” Reyna said. “I have been doing it my whole life and I feel like when I can’t dance, even for a day, it makes my day worse. When I dance I am happier and I have made so many friends through dance.” 

Reyna got to experience dance team nationals for the first time this year and she was inspired by everyone that she competed against and loved the experience.

“It was so much fun,” Reyna said. “I remember telling my coaches and all my friends that going out there was such a weird but great feeling. It was so new, but it was so cool to see all the teams competing and seeing your friends perform.”

Reyna has an unmistakable passion for dance that is shown through her performance. Reyna performs at sporting games, pep assemblies, and more. Her contagious spirit rubs off on the school and helps promote school pride.
