James and Kaylee

Sophomore Jamesperry Fraizer-Baker gives us some insight on what it’s like to make the perfect, homecoming sign.

“It was kind of a tedious process,” he joked. “I went through about 20 or 25 sharpies. One of my friends actually had to come over at like 10:30 at night to bring me more sharpies.”

Frazier-Baker explained that senior Kaylee Kleinschmit, his homecoming date, loves the TV show Friends. His sign features a play on words off of the Friends theme song,  “I’ll be there for you at homecoming. Will you be there for me too?”

Kleinschmit, who plays varsity volleyball, is good friends with Frazier-Baker.

“We had been talking for a long time and we knew we weren’t going with anybody else,” Frazier-Baker said. “It was just a matter of when I was going to ask her.”
