Mason McGavran – Football

“For the past four years, football has been everything to me. Starting from a young age, playing on Friday nights was always the goal. Coming into my freshman year, it felt like I had all the time in the world to play. Now, three years later I’m a senior and playing my last year of high school football. Football has been nothing but fun. From playing freshman, to JV, and to varsity. It’s brought good friendships and life lessons along the way. I’ve been through success and failure throughout my high school career. Football has its ups and downs, but that’s just part of the game. My senior season has been my favorite season of my career. This season has a blast with my teammates and coaches, and even better to see the success that has come with the hard work we’ve put in. I am excited to graduate, but upset that my high school career is over because nothing beats a Friday night environment. Post high school, I plan to continue my football career in college. Although I will still be playing, nothing will compare to high school football.”
