Nora Howard – Girls Basketball

“I started basketball I think when I was in third or fourth grade, and I was doing it along with other sports. It wasn’t like my main sport, but I kept playing, and I played club and then I played for my middle school. I played for Pioneer Trail and I really enjoyed it there. Even though it wasn’t super competitive, we weren’t that good. I still enjoyed it, helped like leading and then when I came in high school and did like a more competitive club I just realized that was when I really fell in love with it. Like I quit soccer because I wanted to focus on it and stuff like that. And then I’ve just like, been able to be a part of an amazing team like inside and outside of school, like between club and school long, and it’s just been a big part of my life for a very, very long time. I’m gonna miss my friendships. I’m gonna miss the team relationship that we were able to build these past four years like they’re all like my best friends and I’m gonna miss them but some of them are playing in college. So I’m gonna be able to go watch them still and rooming with another one.”
