Post Game: Wins at West and More to Come

Girls Tennis

Girls varsity tennis had two events throughout the week. Varsity played a round robin tournament against Olathe East, North, Northwest and South on Monday at CBAC where they placed second. They also had a quad in Leavenworth on Wednesday which was rescheduled from an Aug. 29 set date.

Girls Golf

Girls golf had tournaments this week on Monday and Wednesday. Varsity played on Monday where they played with Free State, Olathe East and Manhattan where junior Savannah Cagle tied for sixth place with a score of 74 and the team got third overall. They also had a tournament on Wednesday, against St. James Academy at Sunflower Hills Golf Course where Cagle won 2 under par.

Cross Country

Cross Country competes at Oklahoma State University. They left Friday Sept. 26 and ran on Saturday Sept. 27 where girls placed third and boys placed fifth.

Gymnastics

North, East, South and West senior gymnasts met at Mill Creek campus for the varsity senior night that started at 6:00 p.m. Varsity has a competition coming up on Sept. 28 against Lawrence Free State at 10:00 a.m.

Boys Soccer

Boys varsity had games Tuesday and Thursday this week. On Tuesday, they played Shawnee Mission West where the score ended 2-1 in Wests favor and on Thursday they played at CBAC against Olathe North where West tied 1-1.

Volleyball

Varsity volleyball had duals at home on Tuesday against Free State and West won 3-0. Next they played Shawnee Mission West at home on Thursday where West won again 3-0.

Football

Varsity football won against Olathe South on Thursday. The ending score was 24-23 with touchdowns from Tevyn Gasaway, Sam Krzykowski (80 yd score) and Cameron Cruze.
